Zeta Global Corp seeks a Senior Software Engineer in New York City to design, develop, deploy, and own scalable distributed systems supporting the company’s customer relationship management and multichannel marketing technology platform. Responsibilities include developing distributed applications, microservices, backend services, and data-processing components; translating business requirements into technical designs; maintaining production applications using Java, Python, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and comparable technologies; designing and integrating RESTful APIs; optimizing ETL pipelines; developing event-driven systems with Apache Kafka; managing relational and NoSQL databases; deploying and scaling applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud); implementing observability and logging solutions; investigating production incidents and performance bottlenecks; applying AI-assisted development practices including generative AI integration; implementing production controls for AI outputs; identifying project risks and product gaps; ensuring timely delivery of features through code reviews and testing; researching cost-effective solutions; and maintaining technical documentation. The role offers hybrid work with up to 4 days telecommuting. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields and 5 years of relevant experience. Salary is $193,461 per year.
