Full job description
Looking for a Senior Data Engineer with 5-8 years experience in data engineering, strong database fundamentals, and ETL expertise. Must have experience with data warehouses handling terabytes of data, relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL), Apache Spark, and SparkSQL. Responsibilities include designing and coding data solutions, managing ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks using PySpark/SparkSQL, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with global teams. Requires strong SQL, Python, CI/CD, Git, Airflow knowledge, and understanding of data governance, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required. Experience with cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform is a plus. Role based in Bengaluru, India.
