Full job description
Senior Sales Manager role reporting to APAC VP focused on new business in North Asia, primarily Hong Kong and Taiwan. Responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth through new client acquisition and mentoring junior sales team members. Requires proven senior sales experience in Programmatic, AdTech, MarTech, and digital media, strong contacts in Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality sectors in Hong Kong, commercial acumen, excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic mindset, willingness to travel regionally, proficiency in English and Mandarin, and expertise in digital advertising and direct client sales. What you'll do
- Drive sales planning and strategies for acquiring new clients to achieve regional growth targets
- Collaborate across teams to boost regional growth
- Partner with marketing to support development and execution of client-focused marketing programs and sales materials
- Develop privileged relationships with existing key accounts and acquire new clients to broaden market presence
- Partner with Client Success team to onboard new clients as appropriate
- Work closely with Managing Director, North Asia to enhance customer experience and drive company core values
- Identify market trends and opportunities, providing insights for product development and marketing strategies
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to leverage growth opportunities
- Collaborate with brand and product development teams to ensure alignment with market needs
- Travel within the region to meet clients, attend trade shows, and explore new business opportunities
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management
Requirements
- Proven track record in a senior sales role within Programmatic, AdTech, MarTech, and digital media spaces
- Strong relationships and contacts with media agencies and brands within the Travel, Tourism, and Hospitality sectors, especially in Hong Kong
- Strong commercial acumen with a history of driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- A strategic mindset with a proactive and results-driven approach
- Willingness to travel within the region
- Professional proficiency in English and business fluency in Mandarin (written, spoken, and for business negotiations)
- Deep understanding of digital advertising and data-driven marketing
- Expertise in direct client sales
