Full job description

Senior Account Manager responsible for managing strategic demand-side relationships with agency holdcos in Northern Europe/Germany. Role includes selling premium programmatic deals across display, video, audio, CTV, and native formats. Responsibilities include relationship management, internal collaboration, campaign brief creation, buyer education, marketing publisher inventory, evaluating ad tech ecosystem, and delivering customer service. Requirements include experience in German agency ecosystem, digital media and programmatic sales knowledge, English proficiency, skills in Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides, Gmail, strong communication and presentation skills, sales account management experience, problem-solving ability, passion for industry trends, and motivation to work in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work schedule with two remote days (Monday, Friday) and three in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in Berlin.

What you'll do

  • Build, manage and understand relationships with buyers across the programmatic ecosystem, including agencies, publishers and other third-party organisations in Northern Europe, predominantly Germany
  • Work internally with the Magnite publisher partners, media planning, demand solutions and product account teams to grow Demand Revenue
  • Help to build out the business by creating campaign briefs, providing relevant insights and solutions to meet the agency’s/client's needs
  • Evangelise all buying techniques utilised through programmatic infrastructure to buyers and build new business opportunities with the ability to sell to clients at all levels
  • Creatively market new publisher inventory to buyer network and drive publisher revenue
  • Evaluate the rapidly evolving ad tech ecosystem for new ideas/opportunities to guide the company's business strategy and growth
  • Educate and train client base on Magnite product solutions & inventory launches
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, respond promptly to customer needs and solicit customer feedback to improve service

Requirements

  • Experience working in the German Agency eco-system
  • Experience working in digital media, with hands-on experience and a good understanding of programmatic and media sales
  • Working knowledge of English
  • Competent skills in Excel, PowerPoint/Google Slides & Gmail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good presentation skills
  • Experience in sales account management
  • Ability to problem-solve
  • Ambition, high energy and the will to succeed
  • Deep understanding and passion for industry trends, technologies and pricing models
  • Good knowledge of online advertising dynamics and campaign planning & buying, specifically related to Real Time Bidding
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
