Full job description

The Trade Desk is hiring a Senior Recruiter II to manage Engineering hiring across EMEA. Responsibilities include partnering with Hiring Managers, influencing hiring decisions and compensation strategies, managing full-cycle recruitment, maintaining candidate relationships, and collaborating with People Advisory Partners on hiring and internal mobility. The role requires 8+ years of experience in agency and in-house recruiting, strong technical proficiency, expertise in compensation frameworks including equity, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for AI-driven recruiting innovation. Location: London.

What you'll do

  • Partner closely with Hiring Managers to understand function, team, and role requirements
  • Use market insights and candidate signals to influence hiring decisions, leveling, and compensation strategy
  • Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional partners to map out long-term talent acquisition strategies
  • Manage and drive full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interviewing, feedback, and offers
  • Find and engage highly technical and ambitious talent using creative sourcing methods
  • Provide regular status reports and maintain candidate tracking in ATS
  • Maintain strong relationships with candidates and manage each step in the hiring process
  • Serve as trusted advisor during candidate evaluation and closing
  • Partner with People Advisory Partners to ensure alignment on hiring needs and internal mobility processes
  • Lead internal mobility processes ensuring fairness and excellent communication
  • Implement and drive recruiting programs to attract top talent
  • Represent the company with integrity and professionalism
  • Maintain high level of data integrity and present work with a data-driven approach

Requirements

  • 8+ years experience including both agency and in-house experience
  • Strong technical proficiency with ability to understand and evaluate technical qualifications
  • Passion for understanding the needs of engineers and innovating recruiting processes tailored to AI
  • Trusted advisor on complex compensation frameworks including equity
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics across pre-IPO and public company environments
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proactive attitude and ability to operate with autonomy
  • Extensive experience partnering with engineering candidates and hiring managers
  • Proven track record of scaling and building diverse and high-performing teams in fast-paced environments
  • Creative approach to building a robust and scalable bench of talent
  • Positive curiosity about AI and its impact on recruiting and business outcomes
