Full job description

Senior Quality Engineer role on Streaming Ad Server team to ensure quality throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing test strategies, building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, implementing automated and manual tests, pioneering AI-driven test coverage and tooling, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshooting and debugging, collaborating cross-functionally, researching new testing technologies, and managing QA sign-off for releases. Requires 5+ years of QA and test automation experience, AI integration in testing, Bachelor's degree or equivalent, CI/CD and release management experience, API and backend testing expertise, proficiency in Python/Java, and familiarity with cloud infrastructure and observability tools. What you'll do

  • Develop and lead test strategies for complex, large-scale integration projects
  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks
  • Create and implement automated tests ensuring repeatability and robustness
  • Use AI techniques to create comprehensive test cases and increase coverage
  • Develop AI-powered custom testing tools like self-healing frameworks and defect prediction systems
  • Collaborate with DevOps to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot, isolate, and resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and validate bug fixes
  • Partner with product, project, and development teams to address quality-impacting issues
  • Research and develop proofs of concept for new testing tools and methodologies
  • Manage QA sign-off process for releases

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in software QA and test automation
  • Experience integrating AI methodologies into test automation frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management tools
  • Strong ability to design and implement API smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests
  • Solid understanding of backend and service testing focusing on performance, scalability, and security
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Java and scripting languages
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, and observability tools
