Full job description Lead QA role requiring 6 to 10 years experience to ensure software meets client and business quality standards. Responsibilities include defining QA scope, writing test plans and cases, performing DWH and database testing, functional, regression, load, system and UAT testing, logging defects, validating fixes, and mentoring 2-3 QA associates. Required skills: DWH and database testing, SQL, ETL testing, Azure cloud technologies, JIRA, Agile, good communication. Good to have: SOAP/API testing, stakeholder communication, Microsoft Office. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related field. Certifications: Azure Data Engineer Associate, Snowflake Associate/Core preferred. Shift timings: 12 PM to 9 PM or 2 PM to 11 PM IST.

Actively participate in test planning by identifying testing requirements, scope and estimates
Ensure optimal test coverage comprising of positive, negative and exception scenarios
Log defects with right priority, track them to closure and understand the root cause for an issue
Work on DWH / Database testing
Perform all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
Validate fixes and ensure follow through to all test cycles
Investigate and recommend remediation strategies for data quality conditions, and process failures
Communicate test status to internal project team and clients
Develop and contribute best practices and standards for a solution or across multiple medium/large scale projects/accounts
Mentor a team of 2 to 3 QA Associates Requirements Experience & Knowledge in DWH and Database Testing SQL and ETL testing knowledge Debug the differences and document the issues identified Understand Requirements and translate them into test cases Proficiency with SQL language and Data Warehousing principles Any ETL Tool knowledge Experience on Cloud technologies AZURE preferred Experience on JIRA and Agile Good Communication skills Familiarity with Cloud technologies (good to have) Working experience on JIRA and Agile (good to have) Experience with testing SOAP / API projects (good to have) Stakeholder communication (good to have) Microsoft Office (good to have) Bachelor’s or Master Degree or equivalent Degree or related IT field Azure certifications such as Azure Data Engineer Associate (if any) Snowflake Associate / Core certification (if any) Tech stack DWH Database Testing SQL ETL Azure JIRA Agile SOAP API Microsoft Office
