Full job description

Lead QA role requiring 6-10 years experience with minimum 2 years in a lead position. Responsibilities include collaborating with designers and developers to create and maintain unit tests, designing telemetry pipelines using InfluxDB, Grafana, and Prometheus, managing defects and advocating quality-first release decisions, ensuring production-like test environments, providing updates to senior stakeholders, and mentoring team members. Required skills include expertise in QA for complex systems, API testing (Postman, Bruno), performance and load testing (K6, JavaScript), telemetry and monitoring tools, Azure platform experience, container orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS), CI/CD and DevOps integration, and data migration QA leadership. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and certifications in Azure and Snowflake are required. Good communication skills and a quality-first mindset are essential.

What you'll do

  • Partner with designers and developers to define, create, and maintain a comprehensive suite of unit tests aligned to solution designs
  • Design and implement telemetry pipelines with InfluxDB, Grafana, and Prometheus
  • Build dashboards and generate clear reports
  • Manage and prioritize defects, provide remediation recommendations, and advocate for quality-first release decisions
  • Ensure production-like test environments with correct components, data, and configurations
  • Provide updates to senior stakeholders
  • Translate technical results into business language
  • Mentor developers and test engineers

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years, maximum 10 years of experience
  • Strong background in QA for complex system delivery
  • Hands-on expertise with unit testing and curation in partnership with dev teams
  • Practical experience with API testing using Postman and Bruno
  • Experience with performance testing using K6 (JavaScript)
  • Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools: Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus
  • Proven track record in functional, non-functional, and performance testing for large-scale distributed systems
  • Experience testing Azure-hosted platforms, API gateways (Gravitee desirable), and container-based solutions (Kubernetes/AKS)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong advocate for quality-first mindset
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps testing integration
  • Load testing expertise (K6)
  • Proven experience leading QA for data migration projects
  • Minimum 2 years of lead experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science
  • Certification in Azure
  • Snowflake Associate / Core certification
  • Good-to-have: background in high-volume booking, transaction, or e-commerce platforms
  • Good-to-have: knowledge of security testing approaches and tools
  • Good-to-have: relevant QA or test management certifications
