Full job description

Senior Product Manager role to lead strategy and development of core advertising technology platform focused on publisher monetisation across European markets. Responsibilities include defining product roadmap for ad serving, header bidding, and monetisation infrastructure; leading full product lifecycle; working embedded within engineering squads in agile environment; driving experimentation to improve yield and revenue; partnering with data science to monitor KPIs; maintaining knowledge of programmatic advertising ecosystem; collaborating with commercial teams for market feedback; writing detailed product specs; communicating strategy to leadership; exploring emerging technologies and privacy solutions. Requires 5+ years product management experience with at least 3 years in ad-tech (SSP, DSP, ad network, publisher platform, or CMP), deep knowledge of programmatic advertising (RTB, header bidding, ad serving, inventory management, auction mechanics), technical confidence working with engineers, experience embedded in engineering squads, ability to interpret technical documentation, strong product mindset, proactive operator, publisher monetisation experience valued, familiarity with Privacy Sandbox APIs and post-cookie identity frameworks (UID2, RampID) a plus, working knowledge of SQL a plus, fluent English required, Spanish a plus. Based in Madrid or willing to relocate with regular in-person collaboration. What you'll do

  • Define and own product roadmap for ad serving, header bidding, and monetisation infrastructure
  • Lead full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, launch, experimentation, and iteration
  • Work embedded within engineering squads in agile environment, participating in standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and technical discussions
  • Drive experimentation initiatives to improve yield, fill rate, latency, viewability, and publisher revenue
  • Partner with data science teams to define, monitor, and interpret monetisation KPIs and platform performance metrics
  • Maintain understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem changes and translate into product decisions
  • Collaborate with commercial and publisher success teams to gather market feedback and align roadmap priorities
  • Write detailed product specifications, PRDs, user stories, and technical requirements for engineering
  • Communicate product strategy, roadmap progress, and key initiatives to leadership and stakeholders
  • Explore emerging technologies, identity solutions, and monetisation opportunities within evolving privacy landscape

Requirements

  • 5+ years of product management experience
  • At least 3 years in an ad-tech company (SSP, DSP, ad network, publisher platform, or CMP)
  • Deep knowledge of programmatic advertising including RTB, header bidding, ad serving, inventory management, and auction mechanics
  • Technically confident working directly with engineers
  • Experience embedded within engineering squads in agile environments
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, API schemas, architecture diagrams, and implementation specifications
  • Proven track record writing detailed product requirements and technical specifications
  • Strong product mindset balancing business impact, technical constraints, and publisher outcomes
  • Proactive and decisive operator thriving in fast-moving environments
  • Experience with publisher-side monetisation environments highly valued
  • Familiarity with Privacy Sandbox APIs and post-cookie identity frameworks (UID2, RampID) is a plus
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data-driven product decision making is a plus
  • Fluent English required; Spanish is a strong plus
  • Based in Madrid or willing to relocate with regular in-person collaboration
