Full job description

Appodeal is hiring a Senior Product Manager for casual, ad-monetized mobile games in gaming. This full-time role is based in Barcelona with hybrid work options. The candidate will own 2+ evergreen casual games, managing feature roadmaps focused on weekly LTV, retention, and ad revenue improvements. Responsibilities include revenue projections, P&L ownership, approving creatives, validating hypotheses, deciding game maintenance, running weekly releases, designing experiments, scaling R&D winners, collaborating with UA and monetization teams, and leveraging AI tools for automation and efficiency. Requirements include 3+ years product management experience in casual mobile games, proven track record in retention and monetization metrics (ARPDAU, IPM, LTV), coding skills for data and automation, AI fluency, lean startup mentality, senior-level autonomy, and flexibility. Benefits include working on impactful mobile gaming products, a fast-moving team, data-driven environment, AI tool usage, competitive compensation, and growth opportunities.

What you'll do

  • Full ownership of 2+ casual games (ad-monetized, evergreen)
  • Define and evolve feature roadmap focused on weekly LTV, retention, and ad revenue improvements
  • Own revenue projections and full app P&L thinking including UA economics, IPM, retention curves, ARPDAU
  • Approve creatives, validate hypotheses, and challenge data inconsistencies
  • Decide when a game should move to maintenance versus pursuing impact opportunities
  • Maintain a weekly release cadence: ship, measure, learn
  • Run a prioritized backlog instead of a long-term roadmap
  • Design, spec, and validate experiments; write PRDs, analyze data, review results
  • Pick up winners from R&D and scale them including SDK integration, LiveOps, feature releases, monetization tuning
  • Collaborate closely with UA, creative, and monetization teams without direct management
  • Use AI tools daily for PRDs, data analysis, competitive teardowns, user-feedback synthesis, creative briefs, LiveOps content
  • Automate repetitive product work such as reports, dashboards, alerts, and content generation
  • Build internal AI-powered tools and automations to increase team efficiency

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Product Manager on casual, ad-monetized, evergreen mobile games
  • Track record of improving retention, engagement, and ad monetization (ARPDAU, IPM, ad LTV, day-7/30 retention)
  • Ability to code at a working level, including pulling data from BI, writing scripts to automate tasks, and prototyping
  • AI-fluent: actively use AI tools in daily workflow with concrete examples
  • Lean startup mentality: comfortable owning multiple projects, working without long roadmaps, making decisions on partial data, and shipping fast
  • Senior-level autonomy: opinionated, able to ship without hand-holding, build forecasts, challenge stakeholders, and own outcomes
  • Hungry, engaged, flexible: treat product as a craft, move fast, change direction based on data, and not attached to own ideas
