Full job description

Smadex is hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead user experience strategy and design execution for user-facing initiatives. The role is hybrid based in Barcelona. Responsibilities include owning UX for products from concept to delivery, collaborating with Product Managers and Engineering, designing user journeys and prototypes, evolving the design system, validating concepts through research and analytics, and staying updated on UX and AI design trends. Requirements include 5+ years in digital product design for SaaS/B2B, strong portfolio, expert Figma skills, UX and interaction design expertise, experience with complex workflows and dashboards, agile collaboration skills, and excellent communication. Preferred experience includes programmatic advertising, AI-powered products, front-end development basics, and scalable design systems. What you'll do

  • Own the user experience for one or more Products, from discovery and concept development through to detailed design and delivery
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering to shape product direction, influence roadmap decisions and ensure user needs are represented throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Design intuitive user journeys, workflows, interfaces and prototypes that simplify complex creative, AI and advertising technology into elegant product experiences
  • Contribute to and evolve the Smadex Design System, creating scalable interaction patterns and reusable components that improve consistency across the platform
  • Validate concepts through prototyping, user research, experimentation and product analytics, using data and feedback to continuously improve the user experience
  • Stay at the forefront of UX, AI-assisted design, design systems and emerging technologies, helping shape the future of Creative Products at Smadex

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience designing digital products for SaaS, B2B software or technology platforms
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, from user discovery through to shipped products
  • Expert proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, design systems and component libraries
  • Strong understanding of UX, interaction design, information architecture and user-centred design principles
  • Experience designing complex workflows, dashboards or data-rich applications
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers in an agile product environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain design decisions and influence stakeholders
