Epsilon is hiring a Senior Principal Engineer to own the quality and reliability of transactional data products on their lakehouse platform. This hands-on individual contributor role requires ownership of data products end to end, including ingestion, publication, and engineering standards. Responsibilities include building automated quality control layers, diagnosing data failures, automating manual operations, evolving Spark and SQL pipelines, and mentoring team members. Candidates must have 10+ years of experience in production data engineering or data platform work, expert SQL and Python skills (PySpark preferred), experience with large-scale distributed platforms and relational or MPP warehouses, and strong software engineering practices applied to data work.
