Full job description
GumGum is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to build and own a next-generation AI-powered software development platform focused on spec-driven development. The role involves evaluating existing AI SDLC frameworks, architecting and building the platform end-to-end, integrating with CI/CD and infrastructure, collaborating with DevOps, Machine Learning Engineering, and Security teams, and driving company-wide adoption. Requires 5+ years experience in platform engineering or related fields, hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes, Python, and building internal tools adopted by teams. Strong communication and product mindset needed. The position offers a hybrid work environment with a preference for candidates within commutable distance to Santa Monica, California. Salary range is $186,000 to $215,000 annually plus benefits including 401(k) matching and potential bonuses.
