Responsibilities include managing Kubernetes clusters (GKE), designing infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, improving CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD), maintaining Helm charts, ensuring platform reliability and disaster recovery, defining observability standards, leading incident response, mentoring engineers, and participating in on-call rotations. Required skills include 7+ years of platform or DevOps engineering experience, expertise in Kubernetes and Terraform, experience with GitOps and CI/CD at scale, cloud networking and security knowledge, and mentoring experience. Technologies used include Ruby/Rails, Elixir, Python, JavaScript, GCP, AWS, and related cloud services. Benefits include competitive salary, health insurance, 401(k) match, PTO, hybrid work, free lunch onsite, volunteer opportunities, and professional development.
What you'll do

- Architect, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD) with a focus on reliability, security, and developer experience
- Design and maintain Helm charts for applications and services across multiple environments
- Drive platform reliability — owning scalability, availability, and disaster recovery strategy (load balancing, auto-scaling, multi-region resilience)
- Define and implement observability standards across metrics, logging, and tracing (Grafana, New Relic, OpenTelemetry)
- Serve as a technical lead during incidents on primary revenue-generating applications, owning resolution and contributing to post-mortems
- Mentor engineers across the team and act as a trusted advisor to development teams on infrastructure best practices, security standards, and platform adoption
- Contribute to the team’s on-call rotation with a proactive, systems-thinking approach
Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering experience
- Deep hands-on expertise with Kubernetes in production environments (GKE)
- Strong Terraform skills — module authoring and IaC architecture
- Experience with GitOps workflows and CI/CD pipeline design at scale
- Solid understanding of cloud networking, IAM, and security across GCP
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex, ambiguous problems
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing platform culture
- Currently legally authorized to work in the United States
