Full job description
Senior Network Administrator responsible for maintaining and supporting global network infrastructure across datacenters and cloud platforms. Key duties include operational support, incident response, troubleshooting, monitoring, configuration management, and collaboration with engineering and security teams. Requires expertise in WAN, routing, switching, firewall technologies, and hybrid multi-cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure). Must have strong skills in network protocols, enterprise networking platforms (Cisco, Dell, Arista, F5, Palo Alto), network monitoring tools, and automation frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, Python). Expected to lead incident response, mentor junior staff, and participate in 24x7 on-call rotation. Requires 10+ years experience in large-scale network environments and knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS). Certifications preferred.

Requirements
10+ years of experience supporting large-scale, high-performance production network environments
Expertise in WAN and routing topologies, datacenter switching architectures, firewall technologies, and traffic management platforms
Experience supporting secure hybrid multi-cloud environments including AWS, GCP, and Azure networking services
Strong troubleshooting skills across network, operating system, and application layers
Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including Ethernet (10/40/100/400Gbps), OSPF, BGP, IPSec, DHCP, DNS, SNMP, LACP, IPv6, TCP, and Spanning Tree
Hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus, Dell Force10, Arista, Citrix NetScaler, and F5 BIG-IP
Expertise with Cisco and Palo Alto Networks firewall technologies
Proficiency with network monitoring and management platforms such as SolarWinds, ExtraHop, NetBrain, Panorama, AlgoSec
Experience with cloud networking services including DNS, load balancers, CDNs, VPCs, subnets, security groups, cloud connectivity
Experience using Infrastructure as Code and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Python
Good communication and documentation skills
Understanding of security frameworks including ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS
Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead incident response
Familiarity with observability platforms, dashboard creation, capacity planning, alerting strategies
Ability to mentor junior team members
Preferred certifications from cloud platforms, Cisco, Palo Alto Networks
Willingness to participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
