Full job description

Senior Network Engineer role requiring 5+ years managing enterprise network infrastructure including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and network security. Must have experience with Juniper and Cisco hardware, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, VRRP), network ACLs, VLANs, and firewall management. Responsibilities include managing data center network connectivity, configuring BGP, WAN installations, network performance improvements, security management, remote access, hardware/software maintenance, and vendor management. Experience with network automation tools (Ansible, Git, Python) and DevOps environment is required. Relevant certifications (CCNP, NSE, PCNSE, JNCIA) preferred. What you'll do

  • Manage IP connectivity and latency for data center networks
  • Configure BGP transit and private peering
  • Collaborate with Architect team on networking solutions
  • Manage and perform WAN installations
  • Improve and enhance network performance
  • Monitor and scale network bandwidth
  • Implement new service data centers (domestic/international)
  • Plan and execute complex network upgrades and migrations
  • Manage network security aspects (load balancers, firewalls, ACLs)
  • Manage remote access for users and clients
  • Perform network hardware/software maintenance
  • Plan proactively for scale and infrastructure growth
  • Research new tools and network technologies
  • Update and standardize device firmware
  • Manage service requests and support tickets
  • Occasional travel to data centers
  • On-call after hours and emergency support
  • Manage vendor support issues and engagements
  • Deliver projects under aggressive timeframes
  • Communicate and document infrastructure changes

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience with Juniper Enterprise Routers and Switches
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus 5k, 7k, 9k Switches
  • 5+ years with routing protocols BGP, OSPF, VRRP, and traffic engineering
  • 5+ years with network ACLs, policy-based routing, firewall management
  • 5+ years experience with NAT, VLANs, VLAN tagging, MAC address tables, switching
  • Ability to generate and maintain technical documentation and network diagrams
  • Experience with VXLAN, Virtual-Chassis, MC-LAG on Juniper gear
  • Experience with carrier circuits installation, activation, troubleshooting
  • Experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet firewalls, IPSec VPN, MFA
  • Experience in DevOps environment using Ansible, Git, Python
  • Experience troubleshooting complex network issues
  • Experience contributing to monitoring and alerting systems
  • JNCIE/CCIE or equivalent experience with Juniper, Cisco, Arista
  • CCNA, CCNP Data Center equivalent certifications preferred
  • CISSP or knowledge of network security including IDS, DDoS
  • IPv6 experience and knowledge
  • Operational experience with flow-based technologies
  • UNIX/Linux OS networking knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
