Senior Manager, Technical Operations role based in India with a hybrid schedule (Monday/Friday remote, Tuesday-Thursday in-office). Responsible for leading technical operations for Magnite platforms in India, ensuring high standards in integrations, optimization, and platform strategy aligned with regional and global objectives. Requires 5-7+ years in ad tech/programmatic within the Indian market, strong knowledge of OpenRTB, VAST, Prebid, header bidding, and experience with ad servers like GAM and SpringServe. Must have experience with video and CTV ecosystems, programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, SQL), and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities include technical leadership, client advisory, partner integrations, operational improvements, and cross-team collaboration. What you'll do

  • Operate as the lead technical voice in-market, setting standards for Magnite solutions design, implementation, and optimization
  • Provide high-impact solutions to complex client situations, making sound technical and commercial judgments under pressure
  • Guide stakeholders toward decisions that serve client success and long-term operational excellence
  • Serve as escalation point for complex technical and operational issues
  • Lead end-to-end partner integrations across SpringServe and emerging solutions, with broad understanding of DV+ and DM solutions
  • Drive onboarding, QA, and launch processes
  • Understand Magnite’s global operational framework and suggest improvements for the Indian market
  • Identify revenue and yield optimization opportunities across partner inventory
  • Act as trusted technical advisor to publishers, broadcasters, streaming platforms, agencies, and brands
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Account Management to drive growth responsibly
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate client feedback into actionable solutions and roadmaps

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in ad tech or programmatic (SSP, exchange, or ad serving) within the Indian market
  • Deep understanding of publisher monetisation and auction dynamics
  • Strong knowledge of OpenRTB protocols, VAST, Prebid and header bidding
  • Hands-on experience with ad servers (e.g., GAM, SpringServe)
  • Experience leading complex supply-side integrations and optimisation initiatives, particularly within video and CTV ecosystems (SSAI/streaming architecture)
  • Technical fluency and ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on integration, troubleshooting, and workflow automation
  • Ability to explain complex programmatic concepts to non-technical stakeholders and commercial partners
  • Hands-on familiarity with programming or scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, SQL)
  • Understanding of API-based integrations
  • Structured, solutions-oriented professional capable of managing multiple high-stakes priorities independently
  • Experience operating effectively in cross-cultural environments with localized knowledge of the Indian business ecosystem
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field
