Full job description
Senior Engineering Manager role leading engineering teams to design, build, and run Big Data platforms. Responsibilities include full software lifecycle ownership, team leadership, architecture guidance, agile and DevOps practices, integration strategy, cloud adoption, and fostering engineering culture. Requires 15+ years software engineering experience with 4+ years in management, expertise in Big Data ecosystems (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Delta Lake, Kafka), database technologies (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL Server), proficiency in SQL, Python/Scala, cloud experience (AWS preferred), data modeling, warehousing, distributed systems, enterprise DWH, scalability, performance optimization, debugging, system design, modern data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, Databricks), MPP databases, AI/ML data pipelines, CI/CD, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and data governance. Location: Bengaluru, India.
