Full job description

Senior full-time marketing role focused on driving PubMatic's earned media presence, thought leadership content, event communications, and research output. Responsibilities include developing pitchable narratives, securing PR coverage, monitoring industry news, supporting partner announcements, creating research-driven content, preparing executive communications, leading event content strategy, contributing to owned channels, and leveraging AI tools to enhance workflow. Requires 5+ years experience in marketing communications, content marketing, corporate communications, journalism, or PR, strong writing skills, journalist mindset, familiarity with programmatic advertising or eagerness to learn, experience supporting executives, and project management skills. What you'll do

  • Drive thought leadership program by identifying story angles and developing pitchable narratives
  • Collaborate with PR partners to secure coverage in key trade outlets
  • Monitor industry news daily and identify newsjacking opportunities
  • Support partner announcements, award submissions, and contributed content
  • Support development of research-driven content including whitepapers and industry reports
  • Develop talking points, messaging frameworks, and briefing materials for leadership
  • Support byline development and executive content across channels
  • Lead content strategy and execution for owned and sponsored events
  • Write and edit executive presentations, conference talking points, and session content
  • Ensure speaking moments align with broader narrative and business objectives
  • Contribute to owned channels: blog, website copy, email, and event content
  • Develop content supporting Sales, Product Marketing, and GTM teams
  • Partner with Digital Marketing to translate content into social media programming
  • Leverage AI tools to increase output velocity, accelerate research, and iterate drafts
  • Apply editorial judgment to balance AI assistance with human voice and credibility

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications, content marketing, corporate communications, journalism, or PR
  • Strong writing skills with demonstrated range: long-form research, whitepapers, executive-voice content, editorial commentary, and channel-specific copy
  • Journalist’s mindset with intellectual curiosity and news instincts
  • Experience developing research-driven content from scoping to packaging findings
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising ecosystem or eagerness to develop domain fluency
  • Proven ability to prepare and support executives for interviews, panels, keynotes, and briefings
  • Hands-on experience with AI writing and research tools with editorial discipline
  • Strong cross-functional instincts working with Sales, Product, Digital Marketing, and PR
  • Exceptional project management skills managing multiple workstreams and deadlines
  • Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating range across formats
  • BA/BS in communications, journalism, PR, English, or related discipline preferred
