Research and document accounting treatment for complex or unusual transactions in accordance with US GAAP
Monitor emerging accounting and tax guidance and assess impact on the company’s reporting and compliance
Maintain, update, and improve tax and accounting process documentation, policies and controls
Design, implement and monitor controls over tax and accounting processes in alignment with COSO framework
Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Operations on transactions, equity matters, and other business initiatives with tax or accounting implications
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required
5–8 years of progressive tax experience, including public accounting and/or corporate tax environment
Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state income tax regulations; exposure to international tax
Experience with cross-border transfer pricing, including intercompany transactions, arm’s length analyses, documentation, and coordination across multiple jurisdictions
Demonstrated proficiency with ASC 740 tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures
Familiarity with internal control frameworks (COSO) and SOX compliance is a plus
Proficiency with Sage Intacct or similar ERP
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax stakeholders
