Senior Manager, Executive Compensation role based in New York. Responsible for developing, implementing, administering, and enhancing executive compensation programs. Collaborates with Senior Director, VP Total Rewards, Compensation Committee, Board of Directors, and cross-functional teams. Key duties include executive compensation strategy and governance, compensation committee operations, executive equity strategy and governance, proxy and regulatory support, program governance, and business partnership. Requires 7+ years of progressive compensation experience with strong executive compensation knowledge, analytical skills, and advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with public companies, governance, and compensation disclosures preferred. Supports global matrixed organization and uses HRIS/Workday. Support governance activities including Say on Pay, claw back policies, share ownership guidelines, change in control programs, and compensation risk assessments
Support periodic reviews of executive compensation programs for alignment with governance and market practices
Build strong partnerships with Legal, Finance, Payroll, Investor Relations, Talent Acquisition, People Business Partners, and HR teams
Support executive hiring, promotions, retention, and organizational changes with data-driven analyses and recommendations
Support enterprise initiatives including organizational design, executive succession, acquisitions, and strategic projects requiring executive compensation expertise
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Human Resources, Economics, Accounting, Business, or another quantitative discipline preferred
7+ years of progressive compensation experience, including meaningful experience in executive compensation
Experience supporting executive compensation within a publicly traded company, executive compensation consulting firm, or advising publicly traded companies
Experience supporting Compensation Committees, Boards of Directors, or senior executive leadership
Experience supporting annual proxy statement preparation, executive compensation disclosures, and related data validation
Strong understanding of executive compensation programs, equity compensation, governance practices, and public company disclosure requirements
Experience working with executive compensation consultants, external counsel, and other advisors preferred
Experience supporting compensation in a global, matrixed organization preferred
Experience with HRIS and compensation technologies, such as Workday, preferred
Strong executive compensation and equity knowledge
Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, executive compensation regulations, and evolving market practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial and compensation data
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex financial and comparative modeling
Advanced PowerPoint skills and experience preparing executive and Board level materials
Strong executive presence with the ability to exercise sound judgment when advising senior leaders and navigating sensitive compensation matters
Ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-ready recommendations and presentation materials
Excellent written communication and presentation skills
