Senior Manager role in Analytics leading a team of 8-15 data scientists and analysts to deliver marketing analytics and AI-powered solutions. Responsibilities include team leadership, defining goals, hiring, and capability building. Own end-to-end delivery of marketing analytics programs including customer segmentation, campaign attribution, propensity modeling, churn prediction, and lifetime value optimization. Oversee predictive and ML model development ensuring scientific rigor. Drive adoption of cloud analytics infrastructure such as Databricks. Champion integration of Generative AI technologies including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and AI agents into analytics workflows. Serve as senior analytics contact for clients, lead presentations, and identify new business opportunities. Establish quality standards and ensure data integrity and privacy compliance. Requires 12+ years experience with 3+ years in management, strong expertise in marketing analytics, proficiency in Python, SQL, visualization tools, machine learning, Generative AI, cloud platforms, and excellent communication and project management skills. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 8-15 data scientists and analysts
- Define team goals, manage performance reviews, and create development plans
- Drive hiring, onboarding, and capability-building initiatives
- Own end-to-end delivery of marketing analytics programs from scoping to impact measurement
- Develop and govern analytical frameworks for segmentation, attribution, propensity, churn, and lifetime value
- Oversee predictive and ML model development ensuring rigor and alignment with business goals
- Guide exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and reporting
- Drive adoption of modern analytics infrastructure including cloud and scalable data pipelines
- Champion integration of Generative AI into analytics workflows and client solutions
- Lead or oversee applied Gen AI projects such as AI-driven insights, automated reporting, personalization, conversational analytics
- Evaluate and recommend emerging AI tools and build POCs
- Collaborate with product and technology teams to embed Gen AI capabilities
- Serve as senior analytics contact for key clients and build trusted relationships with VP/C-suite
- Translate complex analytics into clear narratives for strategic decisions
- Lead QBRs, strategic reviews, solution presentations, client workshops, and pitches
- Identify new analytical opportunities and contribute to business development
- Establish and enforce quality standards, peer reviews, and documentation
- Ensure data integrity, privacy compliance, and responsible AI practices
- Contribute to knowledge management with reusable frameworks and toolkits
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Marketing Analytics
- Master's/PhD strongly preferred
- 12+ years progressive experience in analytics or data science
- At least 3 years in people management or team lead role
- Deep expertise in marketing analytics including customer segmentation, campaign measurement, attribution modeling, CLV, propensity models
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and predictive modeling
- Experience with Generative AI projects including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI agents
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills for senior executives
- Strong project management skills managing multiple concurrent workstreams
- Desirable: experience with Adobe Analytics, CDP, Marketing Cloud, MLOps, identity resolution, first-party data strategy, privacy-safe analytics
- Experience in consulting, MarTech, or AdTech with global brands
