Senior Manager, Business Strategy role reporting to VP, Business Strategy. Focus on client-facing consulting in marketing transformation including omnichannel experience planning, digital transformation, process and operating model design, and change management across multiple verticals. Responsibilities include leading consulting workstreams, client discovery, managing delivery efforts, assessing business readiness, developing customer use cases, facilitating workshops, conducting capability assessments, supporting operating model and change management engagements, analyzing business processes, supporting marketing workflow automation, facilitating cross-functional sessions, developing executive presentations, creating implementation roadmaps, ensuring client value, identifying impact metrics, supporting business development, and collaborating with internal teams. Requires bachelor's degree, 5+ years consulting or related experience, understanding of marketing technologies, proficiency in PowerPoint, and willingness to travel up to 25%. What you'll do
- Partner with consulting delivery leads to lead consulting workstreams and deliverables related to transformation engagements
- Plan and facilitate client discovery through interviews, document review, surveys, and marketing data analysis
- Manage daily consulting delivery efforts including client meetings, workshops, deliverable reviews
- Help clients assess business and organizational readiness for marketing transformation initiatives
- Lead discovery, prioritization, and development of customer use cases according to client priorities
- Plan and facilitate business prioritization workshops using quantitative and qualitative methods
- Use 1P tools for customer-centric capability assessments and blueprints
- Use market and competitive research to inform recommendations
- Support delivery of operating model/change management engagements including maturity assessments, process redesign, governance, training plans
- Analyze client business processes and systems to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement
- Support marketing workflow automation and optimization projects
- Facilitate work sessions and interviews with cross-functional teams to assess gaps and validate recommendations
- Develop executive-level presentations summarizing findings and recommendations
- Create multi-year roadmaps for client implementation in consultation with data and technology teams
- Ensure meaningful client value through best-practice solutions and original thinking
- Identify key data points and measurements to show impact of strategy
- Support business development activities including proposal development
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure cross-channel recommendation feasibility and cohesion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Organizational Development, or related field
- 5+ years in consulting, business transformation, digital transformation, or integrated marketing strategy roles
- 5+ years working in a top tier consulting firm and/or digital marketing agency
- Experience leading and delivering complex projects by providing actionable solutions
- Understanding of end-to-end consulting approaches to solve client problems
- Understanding of marketing technologies (martech/adtech) to orchestrate and activate customer experiences
- Experience assessing and recommending optimal team/process structures for integrated marketing program execution (preferred)
- Prior experience in marketing operations or change management (preferred)
- Prior experience in marketing automation & workflow management platforms (e.g. Adobe Workfront) (preferred)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies applied to marketing (preferred)
- Experience designing or implementing B2B marketing solutions, strategies, or operating models
- 4+ years using data, analytics, and research to guide decisions
- Proficiency in PowerPoint
- Comfort working within a matrixed organization
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
