Full job description

InMobi Advertising seeks a mid-level legal professional with 5-8 years experience, preferably with both in-house and law firm backgrounds, to support legal and commercial agreements, compliance, and risk mitigation. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts, coordinating with external legal counsel, managing statutory compliance and disputes, developing contract processes and templates, and advising cross-functional teams on legal matters. Candidates should have experience supporting engineering, IT, or internet-based organizations, especially in ad-tech or tech sectors, and familiarity with SaaS contracts and global commercial and employment laws in the APAC region. Strong ethics, communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively are required. The role is based in Bangalore, India.

What you'll do

  • Drafting and reviewing a wide array of legal and commercial agreements, including negotiation and closure
  • Coordinating with external legal counsels, advisors, and consultants for commercial transactions
  • Providing guidance on statutory compliances and managing disputes including drafting/responding to legal notices
  • Developing, onboarding, implementing, and administering systems and processes to ensure contracts comply with legal requirements and company policies
  • Leading changes in contracts-related processes, including development of templates and tools for various agreements
  • Assisting with general legal and risk mitigation advisories and compliance activities across multiple domains such as security, government compliance, finance, privacy, and regulatory affairs

Requirements

  • Qualified law graduate from India
  • Approximately 5-8 years of professional experience
  • Preference for candidates with both in-house and law firm experience
  • Prior experience providing legal support to engineering, IT, and internet-based organizations, especially in ad-tech or tech sectors
  • Familiarity with SaaS contracts, commercial and employment laws, and practices at a global level, particularly in the APAC region
  • Strong commitment to ethics, personal integrity, and professional conduct
  • Proficient communication skills and ability to handle matters independently
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Propensity to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services efficiently in a corporate environment
