Full job description

Merkle, a dentsu company, is seeking a Senior Integration Architect to lead large-scale IT architecture transformations. The role involves designing and delivering technical integration architectures, driving implementations across platforms such as CMS, DAM, PIM, PLM, and ERP, and mentoring teams. Candidates must have 8+ years of experience with enterprise-scale integration platforms like Mulesoft, expertise in integration design and optimization for digital experience technologies, strong leadership and communication skills, and fluency in English. Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), modern IT architectures (cloud, APIs, microservices), and experience in manufacturing, engineering, or electronics industries are advantages. What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end Technical Integration Architecture from design to delivery
  • Drive implementation across technology platforms (CMS, DAM, PIM, PLM, ERP)
  • Translate complex business and technical needs into scalable, high-performing architectures
  • Mentor teams and provide architectural governance across multi-application environments
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to define strategies and roadmaps aligning technology with business goals

Requirements

  • 8+ years’ experience as a Technical Integration Architect
  • Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale integration platforms
  • At least one end-to-end integration implementation as an Integration Architect
  • Deep expertise in integration platform design, integration, and optimization for digital experience technologies
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Fluent in English; German is a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or electronics industries is a plus
  • Official integration platform certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, etc.) and modern IT architectures (cloud, APIs, microservices)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
