Full job description
Role focused on Windows platform engineering and enterprise infrastructure delivery across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Responsibilities include designing, deploying, and supporting Windows Server environments (2019, 2022, 2025) on physical servers, VMware, Proxmox, AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid platforms. Manage full lifecycle of Windows Server platforms including provisioning, patching, hardening, upgrades, compliance, and decommissioning. Drive automation-first operations using PowerShell, Ansible, Python, Terraform, and AI-assisted tools. Administer Microsoft infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, LDAP, Failover Clustering, and Certificate Services. Support physical server builds, RAID configurations, hardware troubleshooting, and enterprise identity platforms (Entra ID, Okta, SSO, MFA). Implement Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, observability, and security controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for stable, secure, scalable infrastructure delivery. Qualifications include 5-8 years experience in infrastructure engineering, strong Windows Server expertise, scripting and automation skills, cloud platform knowledge, and preferred certifications in Microsoft, AWS, Azure, VMware, and Terraform.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Ansible, Python and Terraform
Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate scripting, automation development and troubleshooting
Build reusable automation modules, scripts, playbooks and templates
Design, implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines
Support enterprise DevOps practices including source control governance, automated testing, release management and infrastructure validation
Implement and improve monitoring and observability using enterprise monitoring tools and ELK Stack
Drive vulnerability remediation, endpoint security policy implementation, patch compliance, system hardening and access control validation
Collaborate with cloud, network, security, application, data center, automation and operations teams
Participate in infrastructure project delivery activities including requirement review, design validation, implementation planning, risk management and transition to operations
Develop, maintain and standardize SOPs, runbooks, operational procedures, technical standards and knowledge repositories
Identify process improvement and automation opportunities
Provide technical guidance to engineers and contribute to engineering standards and knowledge sharing
Requirements
5-8 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, Windows Server engineering, enterprise systems administration, service delivery or platform operations
Strong hands-on expertise in Windows Server 2019, 2022 and 2025 administration, engineering, build and troubleshooting
Deep experience with Microsoft infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Group Policy, LDAP, Windows Failover Clustering and Certificate Services
Strong scripting and automation experience using PowerShell, with practical exposure to Ansible, Python and Terraform
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code, configuration management and automation standards for Windows infrastructure
Experience with monitoring, observability, log analytics, alerting, dashboarding and operational event correlation
Working knowledge of ELK Stack for log ingestion, search, dashboards and troubleshooting
Hands-on experience supporting physical server infrastructure including server build validation and troubleshooting
Knowledge of RAID concepts and practical experience validating or troubleshooting RAID configurations
Experience with VMware, Proxmox, AWS, Azure, enterprise data center platforms, physical servers, cloud instances, storage and networking dependencies
Strong troubleshooting capability across Windows OS, application hosting layers, infrastructure services, network, hardware issues and observability signals
Experience implementing endpoint security controls, patching, vulnerability remediation, access controls, compliance requirements and system hardening standards
Ability to collaborate with multi-functional partners and support leadership-level visibility on delivery risks, progress and outcomes
Preferred: BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent technical degree
Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or equivalent certification
Preferred: AWS, Azure, VMware, or cloud platform certification
Preferred: HashiCorp Terraform Associate or equivalent automation certification
Preferred: Experience with SCOM, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack or similar monitoring platforms
Preferred: Experience with Bitbucket, Jenkins or similar DevOps toolchains
Preferred: Familiarity with containerized workloads and orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS and GKE
