Full job description

Digital Turbine is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to build product surfaces including campaign management, dashboards, reporting, audience and asset tooling, and APIs connecting demand to supply. The role involves working across front-end, back-end, and data, focusing on backend architecture, low-latency optimization, and algorithmic problem-solving for a real-time marketplace platform. Responsibilities include designing and building full-stack features, selecting appropriate technologies, building APIs, owning production services, collaborating with product leads, and mentoring teammates. Requirements include 5+ years of experience in production platforms, strong algorithmic and system design skills, proficiency in multiple languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, Scala, C++), experience with React and relational/distributed databases, and comfort in an agile environment. Nice to have skills include cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containers, CI/CD, AdTech experience, and integrating ML or data services. The position is hybrid and based in New York, NY.

What you'll do

  • Design and build full-stack features including responsive web front-ends, back-end services, and APIs for campaign management, reporting, and marketplace optimization
  • Choose appropriate languages and tools for each problem in a polyglot stack
  • Build and consume well-designed APIs integrating products into a unified architecture
  • Own services in production including testing, observability, performance, and on-call duties
  • Collaborate with product leads and stakeholders on scoping, estimation, and technical decisions
  • Mentor teammates and raise engineering standards through code review, automation, and pragmatic architecture

Requirements

  • 5+ years building and shipping production platforms with backend architecture, system design, and code optimization focus
  • Strong algorithmic fundamentals and data structures
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multiple languages/ecosystems
  • Solid command of modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React)
  • Experience with back-end service design and relational/distributed data stores
  • Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, testing, and system design
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, agile, ownership-driven environments
