Act as the single point of contact for new joiners from offer stage through end of probation, ensuring a seamless and well-supported transition into the organization
Continuously improve the onboarding and induction experience based on new joiner feedback, survey insights, and early attrition signals
Manage the end-to-end Background Verification (BGV) process: coordinate with third-party vendors, track verification status, flag discrepancies, and maintain compliance records
Ensure all BGV checks are initiated at offer stage and completed within defined SLAs; escalate exceptions or adverse findings per organizational policy
Maintain a compliant BGV documentation repository covering verification reports, adverse findings and closure records distinct from general HR documentation
Liaise with legal, finance, and functional teams on any BGV-related risks, discrepancies, or hold cases
Ensure all onboarding and BGV documentation meets statutory and organizational compliance requirements at every stage
Prepare and manage all HR documents across the employee lifecycle including offer letters, appointment letters, employment contracts, confirmation letters, transfer letters, and separation documents
Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records within HRMS ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
Develop and maintain standardized documentation templates for onboarding, induction, HR letters, and policy communications
Ensure timely issuance of all HR letters and maintain an audit-ready documentation trail
Requirements
2–5 years of hands-on experience in HR Operations, Employee Onboarding, or Employee Engagement roles
Prior end-to-end ownership of onboarding, HR induction delivery, and BGV processes
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience coordinating with BGV vendors, managing verification trackers, and handling compliance documentation
Ability to design, deliver, and continuously improve HR Induction programmes for diverse new joiner cohorts
Ability to create and maintain HR documentation templates: offer letters, contracts, induction decks and policy packs
Experience designing new joiner programmes, buddy systems, or structured 30/60/90 day frameworks
Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides) or MS Office; experience with HRMS tools preferred
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate feedback and data insights into actionable outcomes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal abilities
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently with minimal supervision
