Full job description

InMobi Advertising is seeking a mid-level full-time Business Finance Partner based in Bangalore. The role involves understanding business and revenue drivers, creating and improving processes to prevent revenue leakage, analyzing business trends, preparing forecasts, developing financial models, tracking KPIs, collaborating with global teams, and performing ad hoc executive analysis. Candidates should have a CA or MBA with 2+ years post-qualification experience, preferably with start-up exposure, strong Excel and business analysis skills, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, and be a self-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business, revenue drivers and other functions of the business unit to drive efficient growth
  • Create processes for new initiatives and improve existing ones focusing on governance and revenue leakage
  • Review and analyze historical business trends, understand demand and supply drivers, prepare forecast data, develop financial models and evaluate business outcomes
  • Continuously track financial and business KPIs, highlight trends and analyze variances
  • Collaborate closely with business, sales and cross-functional teams worldwide to ensure smooth flow of operations
  • Perform ad hoc analysis for executives as required

Requirements

  • CA or MBA with 2+ years of post-qualification work experience
  • Previous experience as a business finance partner is desired
  • Experience in a start-up preferred
  • Strong Excel skills with hands-on experience on business analysis and reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to gain respect of senior management and external executives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate complex issues and influence others internally and externally
  • Self-starter who excels in technically demanding, fast-paced, and fluid environment
