Full job description

Merkle, part of dentsu, is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead large-scale IT architecture transformations for clients in the manufacturing industry. Responsibilities include developing technology strategies, modernizing legacy landscapes, aligning solutions with business goals, establishing architecture governance, collaborating with architects, and leading teams and stakeholders through complex IT transformations. Requirements: minimum 8 years in enterprise or solution architecture with leadership experience in large transformations; expertise in at least two of CMS, DAM, E-Commerce, PIM, MDM, CRM, process/data integration and automation; strong SAP knowledge including integration design, ERP-SD, data migration, or cloud migration (e.g., S/4HANA); experience in manufacturing sector; knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF) and modern IT architectures (cloud, APIs, microservices); excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; fluent German and very good English.
