Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Ad Performance Recommendation team within Smartly's AI Platform organization. Responsible for developing AI-powered ad tech systems, leading a multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Software Engineers. Key duties include driving ML model development, optimizing performance, ensuring privacy and ethical compliance, mentoring team members, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires 7+ years building products, 5+ years applying ML, 3+ years leading teams, proficiency in PyTorch, TensorFlow, Python, SQL, and experience delivering scalable ML systems. Must work onsite in Berlin 3 days per week.
