Full job description

Senior Engineering Manager role leading a Fullstack team building and maintaining integrations with advertising platforms. Technologies include Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, and React. Responsibilities include team leadership, coaching, prioritization, and delivering scalable, reliable systems. Requires experience in software lifecycle, agile practices, and hands-on technical guidance. Hybrid work model with 3 days/week in Helsinki office.

What you'll do

  • Lead and facilitate an autonomous Fullstack team responsible for end-to-end delivery of channel integration
  • Work closely with product managers to align priorities and drive impact
  • Champion team member growth through coaching, regular 1:1s, and personal development planning
  • Foster a culture of technical excellence
  • Identify blockers and tackle ambitious technical problems
  • Ensure team focuses on highest priority work with predictable timelines and high quality outcomes
  • Build reliable and scalable systems trusted by customers

Requirements

  • Experienced people leader with proven ability in building and leading high-performing teams
  • Experience throughout the full software life-cycle in an environment with high-availability demands and active user-base
  • Experience in various agile development practices and pragmatism in tradeoffs with a sharp focus on delivery
  • Empathic and user-focused mentality with deep care about product experience and user motivations
  • Comfortable being hands-on to guide the team on technical decisions, system design and best engineering practices
  • Ability to work from Helsinki office three days a week
