Full job description

Senior Software Engineer role on the Budgeting & Pacing team responsible for controlling delivery of budgets for all customers. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and deliver solutions. Build scalable infrastructure for budgeting and pacing products. Use data-driven approaches to influence decisions. Write high-quality production code using Java, AWS, Databricks, and Docker. Requires 4+ years software engineering experience, proficiency in Java, experience with distributed systems, SQL and relational databases knowledge. Advertising technology experience is a plus. Role is hybrid with remote work on Monday and Friday, in-office Tuesday to Thursday. Salary range $135,000 - $175,000 per year, varies by location and experience. What you'll do

  • Collaborate with multiple engineering and product teams to lead features, designing and delivering pragmatic solutions for real business needs
  • Help design, architect, and build modernized, scaled infrastructure to power more sophisticated budgeting & pacing product offerings
  • Apply analytics thinking and a data-driven mindset to influence both technical and product decisions
  • Write and maintain high quality, high performance production-ready code along with robust observability

Requirements

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience in software engineering
  • Proficiency building and maintaining production systems in Java
  • Experience designing and optimizing distributed systems for high throughput, low latency, and high availability and reliability
  • Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, and managing database schemas
  • Familiarity with Advertising Technology challenges and solutions is a strong plus
  • Eagerness to learn and improve the system continuously
  • Strong sense of responsibility and willingness to own the entire software development lifecycle from inception to deployment
