Full job description
Senior Data Scientist role in PeopleCloud Customer Data Platform team. Requires expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and big data technologies including Python, Spark MLLib, Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, Map-Reduce, Hive, HDFS, Spring, Hibernate, Java, and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Responsibilities include analyzing large datasets, designing and implementing ML and deep learning models, developing ML pipelines on Azure, creating data visualizations, and delivering marketing ML models such as Churn, CLV, Propensity, and Affinity. Requires 6-10 years IT experience with 5+ years in data science, strong programming skills, experience with distributed computing systems (Hadoop, HDInsight, DataBricks), cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD tools. Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams and clients. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Perform hands-on analysis of large volumes of web analytics, transaction, customer data, and second and third-party data
Work with complex data structures, manipulate and cleanse data, perform statistical analysis

Experience with large scale distributed databases and computing systems like Hadoop, HDInsight or DataBricks
Strong passion for understanding key business problems and mining data for insights
Proven capability to deliver end-to-end analyses and build predictive models
Expertise in predictive analytics, statistical modeling, data mining, machine learning algorithms and techniques
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
MS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or equivalent education/professional experience
6-10 years of total IT experience with 5+ years in a data science role
Deep experience in machine learning
Strong experience in at least one programming language (Python or R)
Understanding and experience working with cloud infrastructure services like Azure and AWS (Azure preferred)
Experience working with code repositories and continuous integration tools (Git, Jenkins)
