Full job description
Senior Data Scientist role in Technical Account Analytics within Epsilon Digital Media Solutions. Requires 5+ years experience, expertise in SQL, Python, data engineering, advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling. Responsibilities include performance measurement, building analytics tools, mentoring, and translating business objectives into analysis plans. Requires knowledge of online advertising, marketing analytics, digital measurement tools (Google DCM, Google Analytics, Adobe), data tools (DataBricks, PSQL, BigQuery, AWS Redshift), and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI). Bachelor's or master's degree in related fields required. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
What you'll do
- Provide performance measurement and actionable insights for client program optimization
- Build and maintain analytics tools with minimal supervision
- Proactively find opportunities for novel analysis and new measurement methods
- Mentor and coach other team members in analytical procedures and performance criteria
- Lead translation of complex business objectives into analysis plans and present clear data-driven stories
- Act as subject matter expert on product enhancements and scalable reporting for internal teams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, computer science, economics, marketing, mathematics, statistics or related fields
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- SQL and Python programming experience
- Familiarity with other data tools (e.g., R, SAS) is a plus
- Exposure to direct marketing analytics preferred
- Ability to present and tell data stories to diverse groups
- Knowledge of online advertising methods including remarketing and behavioral targeting
- Ability to manage multiple analyses and projects independently
- Experience processing large datasets including advertising impression data, site visitation, and ecommerce databases
- Experience with digital measurement and reporting tools like Google DCM, Google Analytics, Adobe
- Experience with industry data tools such as DataBricks, PSQL, BigQuery, AWS Redshift
- Comfortable with BI/Visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI
- Understanding of MarTech and AdTech competitive landscape
- Understanding of marketing measurement solutions (Media Mix Models, Fractional Attribution)
- Familiarity with media agency, media publisher or MarTech/AdTech company
- Understanding of predictive modeling techniques
