Full job description

Seeking a senior analytics professional with 5-8 years experience, preferably in marketing analytics. Requires proficiency in Python, SQL, Power BI, and experience with data science projects including predictive and machine learning models. Responsibilities include developing analytical frameworks, performing exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, presenting insights, mentoring juniors, applying algorithms, building data models, and creating dashboards. Strong communication, project management, and data integrity skills are essential. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field required; advanced degree and cloud environment knowledge preferred. Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

What you'll do

  • Develop analytical frameworks to solve business problems
  • Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Hypothesis testing and reporting statistically significant results
  • Create and present data-driven insights to clients and stakeholders
  • Storytelling from generated insights
  • Project management with minimal support
  • Mentor and hand-hold junior team members on technical and problem-solving aspects
  • Apply multiple algorithms or architectures and recommend best models
  • Structure hypotheses, build analyses, develop data models, and clarify problems
  • Create visually compelling dashboards and reports
  • Communicate complex data insights effectively
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Maintain high levels of data integrity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing Analytics)
  • 5-8 years of experience in the analytics field; marketing analytics experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL and Power BI
  • Hands-on experience on Data Science projects, developing Predictive / ML models highly preferred
  • Experience in Adobe Analytics and Databricks environment is a plus
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Project management skills with ability to work independently
  • Mentoring junior team members
  • Desirable: Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Statistics, Economics or other quantitative discipline
  • Desirable: Working knowledge of cloud environments
