Full job description

Digital Turbine is hiring a Senior Data Scientist in Warsaw, Poland, working in a hybrid model. The role involves building and deploying ML models at scale to optimize mobile advertising experiences, including predicting user app preferences, in-app transaction values, RTB bidding prices, infrastructure utilization, and fraud detection. The candidate will collaborate with other data scientists and contribute to ML platform development. Required skills include 3+ years in data science/ML, Python and SQL coding, cloud computing (preferably GCP), and familiarity with Spark and Databricks. Experience in AdTech or Mobile Gaming is a strong advantage. What you'll do

  • Build ML models and deploy them to production at scale for batch and online use-cases
  • Predict mobile users' favorite apps based on behavioral history
  • Predict the value of users' in-app transactions for mobile app developers
  • Optimize bidding prices in real-time auctions (RTB)
  • Optimize infrastructure utilization
  • Detect and eliminate fraud
  • Contribute to prioritization of ML work to deliver Product Roadmaps
  • Investigate incidents and find root causes of system problems
  • Collaborate with other Data Scientists on ML models
  • Work with GCP/Google Big Query, Databricks, Spark, Python, ML libraries, PyTorch, PyTorch Lightning, MLFLOW, Optuna
  • Contribute to development of ML Platform to improve algorithms and build new solutions

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data science / ML
  • Experience within AdTech or Mobile Gaming industry - a strong advantage
  • Good coding skills in Python and SQL
  • Cloud computing, preferably GCP
  • Familiarity with Spark and Databricks - a strong advantage
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to develop solutions that bring value to the company
  • Self motivation to achieve something remarkable
  • Bachelor degree in computer science, mathematics, or related field
  • Proficient communication in English is a must
