Full job description
Merkle, a dentsu company, is seeking a mid to senior level Data Engineer to design and build big data architecture pipelines for data lakehouses in the cloud, optimize and productionize machine learning models, and support data infrastructure needs. The role involves working with cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), big data technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS Glue, etc.), relational and NoSQL databases, streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hubs, Kinesis), and orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow, AWS Lambda). Responsibilities include data ingestion, pipeline development, collaboration with BI and ML teams, infrastructure automation with CI/CD, documentation, and pre-sales support. Candidates should have 3-7 years of experience, strong programming skills in Python and other languages, and experience with cloud data services and big data architectures.
