Full job description

Merkle, a dentsu company, is seeking a mid to senior level Data Engineer to design and build big data architecture pipelines for data lakehouses in the cloud, optimize and productionize machine learning models. Responsibilities include designing data ingestion and processing pipelines, supporting stakeholders with data infrastructure, collaborating with BI consultants, supporting ML deployment, developing data pipelines for marketing and customer acquisition insights, automating release pipelines with CI/CD, documenting pipelines, planning with Agile, and supporting pre-sales technical solutions. Requirements include 3-7 years experience as a Data Engineer, advanced Python skills, experience with cloud data services (Azure, AWS, GCP), big data technologies (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.), relational and NoSQL databases, streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hubs, Kinesis), orchestration and ETL tools (dbt, Airflow, AWS Lambda, etc.), CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins), strong analytic skills, and good communication and organizational skills.
