Full job description

Seeking a Senior Data, Analytics & AI Director to advise clients on translating business objectives into data- and AI-enabled strategies for owned channels. Responsibilities include client strategy development, consultative selling, solution design and implementation, providing actionable insights, collaboration with internal teams, and staying updated on industry trends. Requires over 5 years of professional experience including 3 years in strategic roles, proficiency in SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, and knowledge of digital marketing, CRM, and AI applications. Excellent communication and analytical skills needed. Hybrid work model based in Rotterdam.

What you'll do

  • Understand client business goals and translate them into actionable data and AI-enabled strategies and roadmaps
  • Engage with potential clients to understand their challenges and support sales pitches
  • Design and implement tailored data and analytics solutions incorporating AI
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data and AI analysis
  • Collaborate with specialist teams within Merkle and dentsu to deliver integrated AI-enabled solutions
  • Stay informed on latest trends and technologies in data analytics, digital marketing, and applied AI

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Data & Analytics Consultant or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing, CRM, and email marketing
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Interest in or exposure to AI applications in business or marketing
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasive skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to translate customer strategies into effective data and AI-supported strategies
