Full job description

Customer Success Manager role at Smartly based in London, focusing on managing and growing customer accounts in paid digital advertising. Requires 3+ years experience in paid digital advertising platforms including Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, and programmatic. Responsibilities include customer account management, strategy consultation, issue resolution, relationship building with customers and partners, and collaboration with product teams. Hybrid work model with 3 days per week in Amsterdam office and travel for meetings and events. Strong communication skills and technical collaboration ability required.

What you'll do

  • Manage and nurture own customer accounts through day-to-day communication and online marketing expertise
  • Work closely with customers to refine online marketing strategy and resolve advertiser issues
  • Take full ownership and responsibility for growing and managing own book of business
  • Develop vertical expertise (e.g., e-commerce, travel, classified, mobile apps)
  • Maintain excellent knowledge and skills for Smartly.io tool and paid social advertising
  • Build, manage, and develop strong relationships with customers and partners (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok)
  • Collaborate with customers, Customer Success Managers, and product development team to maintain quick feedback loop

Requirements

  • 3+ years of paid digital advertising experience (Meta, Pinterest, Snapchat, TikTok, Google, programmatic)
  • Experience in a customer success or similar customer-facing function
  • Proactive problem-solver with a positive attitude
  • Comfortable addressing technical challenges and collaborating with technical teams
  • Results-driven mentality with bias for action and collaboration
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and translate data into actionable insights
  • Strong spoken and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to create connections and engage confidently with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to work hybrid from Amsterdam office 3 days a week (or more)
  • Willingness to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • Previous knowledge of Smartly or similar platforms is a plus
