Full job description
Senior Business System Analyst role focused on providing technical solutions and strategies for digital marketing objectives using Epsilon’s Cleanroom platform, PeopleCloud Prospect & Discovery. Acts as liaison between clients, advertising agencies, product teams, and data science teams. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, documentation, design, testing, and project delivery support. Requires 5+ years of business analysis experience in database/data-driven marketing, strong SQL skills, understanding of relational databases and data warehousing, and knowledge of ad tech platforms such as DSP, SSP, and DMP. What you'll do
- Integrate large marketers into Epsilon’s Cleanroom platform – PeopleCloud Prospect & Discovery
- Act as subject matter expert and client liaison
- Collaborate with Advertising Agencies, Data Science, Account Management, Client Development, Media Managers, Data Engineers, and Product Owners
- Create and maintain project documentation including requirements, source-to-target specifications, process flow diagrams, data profiles, and test cases
- Lead documentation reviews and gain acceptance
- Create traceability of business requirements to functional and non-functional specifications
- Analyze data quality and provide recommendations
- Drive product fitment analysis and create gap resolution specifications
- Support onboarding of multiple data sources to client’s cleanroom environment
- Ensure business requirements are captured and met through partnership with client services, product/data teams, and data science
- Host effective client meetings and drive successful outcomes
- Support development and implementation of best practices, standards, and methodologies around business and data analysis
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant business analysis work experience in the database/data-driven marketing space
- Experience in defining business requirements and functional specifications
- Experience in translating business requirements into functional/business specifications
- Understanding of relational databases, data warehouse, and data mart concepts
- Ability to assemble, analyze, and evaluate data
- Strong understanding of SQL
- Curious with desire to continue learning

- Collaborative with strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and quickly change priorities

- Prefer previous digital marketing experience, especially within online display advertising
- Prefer working knowledge of advertising technologies such as DSP, SSP, and DMP
