Full job description

The Trade Desk seeks a senior sales professional to manage strategic client relationships in the CPG category. Responsibilities include developing and executing advertising strategies aligned with client business goals, managing relationships across programmatic and media teams, providing thought leadership on media buying strategies, collaborating with internal teams to meet client objectives, and leading channel expansion efforts. Candidates must have a proven sales track record at a DSP or online advertising role, experience with CPG clients, strong communication and organizational skills, and familiarity with Salesforce and CLM is a plus. What you'll do

  • Own strategic relationships with The Trade Desk’s largest clients in the CPG category
  • Develop and execute strategies to support clients’ advertising efforts aligned with business goals and regulations
  • Manage relationships with major advertising clients across programmatic, media & insights, and business stakeholders
  • Provide thought leadership in shaping clients’ media buying strategies using programmatic advertising technology
  • Partner with business development, client services, and technical account management teams to meet client objectives
  • Understand evolving client needs and identify platform enhancements for ad buying efficiency and precision
  • Lead proactive recommendations for channel expansion and open new lines of business and markets
  • Contribute to partnership planning and road-map discussions with senior leadership at client brands
  • Collaborate internally to develop new inventory, data partnerships, measurement, and custom solutions
  • Partner with marketing to showcase client work at industry events and editorial opportunities
  • Present in client business reviews and plan/host events with key clients and their teams
  • Build internal connections across The Trade Desk for comprehensive client support and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering results and building relationships
  • Experience at a DSP or other online advertising role with revenue exceeding track record
  • Experience cultivating strong client relationships at brands and/or agencies
  • Strong communication and organization skills
  • Strategic thinker and problem solver
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and CLM is a plus
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Legal, Product, Marketing, Inventory stakeholders
  • Experience working with/for a CPG client in online advertising
