Full job description
Nexxen is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to join the Finance department in Tel Aviv. The role involves managing daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payments in a multi-currency environment, and month-end processes such as accruals and prepaid items. The candidate will assist in improving accounting policies, participate in ad-hoc finance projects, collaborate with global finance teams, and mentor junior team members. Requirements include a bookkeeping certificate type 3, at least 5 years of experience in a high-tech company, strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication in English, advanced Excel skills, and experience with NetSuite. The position is full-time and hybrid.
What you'll do
- Handle and oversee a variety of ongoing accounting duties including day to day financial transactions, AP-AR, and payments in a multi-currency environment
- Prepare and review month/period-end processes such as accruals, prepaid, etc.
- Assist in improving and developing accounting policies and procedures
- Participate in ad-hoc finance projects as needed
- Work closely with bookkeepers, controllers, and other finance teams around the world
- Mentor and train team members
Requirements
- Bookkeeping certificate type 3
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in High-tech company
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with strong attention to details and prioritizing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High level English both in speaking and writing
- Strong Excel skills, including data analysis, reconciliations, and validation of large data sets
- Experience in NetSuite
