Full job description
Senior Backend Engineer role at Smartly in Mexico City. Design and build scalable, data-intensive backend services and platform integrations using Node.js and TypeScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable APIs and systems supporting complex customer workflows. Provide technical leadership and coaching to engineers. Requires strong backend experience, scalable system design knowledge, and ability to work from Mexico City office one day per week. Hybrid work model.

- Own the design and delivery of new platform integrations from definition through production and ongoing operation.
