Full job description
InMobi is hiring a mid-level full-time Video Editor based in Bangalore. The role requires expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, with good knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator. The candidate must have 3-5 years of experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, pacing, composition, typography, and music skills. Responsibilities include editing long-form and short-form videos across various formats, creating motion graphics, managing fast-turnaround event content, and organizing assets. The role demands ownership of the editing process from raw footage to final delivery, attention to detail, and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines. Familiarity with current social media trends and AI-enabled editing tools is expected. Maintain proper backups and ensure files can be easily accessed by the wider team
Source appropriate stock footage, music, sound effects, and other creative assets when required
Requirements
Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects
Good working knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong understanding of colour correction and grading, audio mixing, sound design, codecs, formats, and export settings
Excellent sense of storytelling, pacing, composition, typography, and music
Strong understanding of both long-form storytelling and fast-paced social-first editing
Ability to independently take an edit from raw footage to final delivery
Strong attention to detail and ability to work within brand guidelines
Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines
Up to date with new video formats, editing techniques, social trends, AI-enabled editing tools, and creative workflows
Comfortable receiving feedback and quickly translating it into the edit
Strong video editing portfolio or showreel
