Full job description

AppLovin is seeking a Treasury Senior Analyst, Credit and Collections based in Palo Alto. The role involves supporting credit and collections processes including preparing customer performance reports, AR aging reports, researching overdue accounts, resolving billing issues, and improving collections processes. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, 4+ years of relevant experience, strong financial analysis and collections knowledge, proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and BI reporting software. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and a results-oriented mindset. What you'll do

  • Prepare reports on customer performance, payment history, credit line usage, analyze data and investigate variances
  • Support weekly and monthly AR aging reports and quarter-end reporting
  • Identify and research overdue accounts/invoices, analyze trends and root causes in payment behavior
  • Support communication and resolution of outstanding invoices and respond to customer inquiries
  • Communicate with outside collection agencies for status and updates
  • Work with customers, sales team, and cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies, disputes, and payment issues
  • Continuously review and improve credit and collections processes to optimize efficiency and reduce delinquencies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting practices, and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Analytics, Business, Accounting or related field
  • 4+ years relevant work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience driving process efficiencies and documenting SOPs and policies
  • Strong understanding of financial analysis and collections operations
  • Superior analytical and modeling skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environment and communicate succinctly
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, eager to learn, able to work independently
  • High integrity, dependability, sense of urgency and results-orientation
  • Skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and BI reporting software
