Full job description

Senior Account Manager role responsible for managing day-to-day execution of clients' marketing strategies for a major retail client. Acts as main contact for client, agencies, and internal teams. Requires partnership with client and Merkle stakeholders to execute marketing and support activities efficiently. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, campaign schedules, meetings, communication, deliverables, process improvements, leadership, risk mitigation, and managing multiple email campaigns via Braze. Requires Bachelor's degree, 6+ years agency experience in digital marketing or marketing operations, experience with Braze, strong organizational and client-facing skills, contract and SOW management knowledge, and ability to identify business opportunities. Hybrid work model with some in-office days for employees near HQ or hub offices. Salary range $68,000 - $110,400. What you'll do

  • Support or act as the primary contact for day-to-day delivery team and client
  • Build strong relationships with key client stakeholders and other teams
  • Ensure campaign schedules and processes are clear and adhered to
  • Run internal and external client meetings
  • Manage daily communication with key internal and external contacts
  • Ensure timeliness and quality of client deliverables
  • Continuously identify areas to improve existing processes
  • Provide leadership, guidance and operational efficiencies to the delivery team
  • Disseminate information to appropriate parties for execution
  • Apply critical thinking to identify and mitigate delivery risks
  • Manage multiple email campaigns simultaneously through Braze

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 6+ years related agency experience, specifically within digital marketing or marketing operations
  • Experience with Braze
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with client-facing responsibilities and client presentations
  • Knowledge of contracts and managing SOW, scope creation and management
  • Ability to identify new business and marketing opportunities
  • Strong listening and relationship building skills
  • Experience leading teams is a plus
