Full job description

Senior sales role focused on driving new relationships and expanding verticals such as Travel, Insurance, and CPG. Responsibilities include prospecting new Brand Direct clients, identifying revenue opportunities, attending industry events, understanding and communicating PubMatic’s technology and media solutions, driving platform spend growth, conducting business reviews, and collaborating cross-functionally. Requires 5-7 years of sales or business development experience in digital advertising, strong programmatic advertising knowledge, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, strong presentation and negotiation skills, adaptability, and ability to work remotely with stakeholders in NYC and LA. The role follows a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote). What you'll do

  • Prospect and build net new relationships with Brand Direct clients
  • Identify additional revenue opportunities within existing clients to maximize account potential
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay ahead of industry trends
  • Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s technology and media solutions and communicate the value proposition
  • Drive platform spend growth to meet and exceed goals while continuously prospecting new business
  • Conduct ongoing business reviews and provide ongoing direct client management and entertainment
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including Agency Sales, Technical Operations, Publisher Sales, Publisher Account Management, Ad Solutions, and Product Management

Requirements

  • Five to seven years in sales or business development within digital advertising
  • Strong knowledge of programmatic buying and selling, including pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends, and buying technologies
  • Proficiency in Excel with ability to analyze data and drive business decisions
  • Skilled in crafting compelling presentations (PowerPoint) and negotiating effectively with clients
  • Flexible, start-up mindset with success in fast-paced environments
  • Comfort working remote and collaborating with stakeholders in NYC and LA, requiring video calls and strong self-starting ability
