Full job description
Senior Account Director role based in London with a hybrid schedule (Monday/Friday remote, Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday in-office). Requires 5+ years experience in online advertising from ad networks, trading desks, publishers, or ad tech platforms. Responsibilities include building and managing client relationships within media agencies, driving new business, delivering revenue performance, training buyers, onboarding new products, coordinating campaigns, maximizing campaign value, and forecasting performance. Must have team leadership experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and deep knowledge of online advertising dynamics, especially Real Time Bidding. What you'll do
- Build relationships with key clients and stakeholders within agency holding companies
- Focus on building new business opportunities and sell to clients at all levels
- Deliver revenue performance for Magnite’s publisher partners through agency management
- Provide training and support to buyers on the full buyer portfolio
- Onboard internal training on new products, platform features, and market changes
- Coordinate with internal groups to launch and troubleshoot campaigns
- Maximise the value of existing campaigns and deals
- Forecast performance accurately within territory
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in online advertising from an ad network, trading desk, publisher or advertising technology platform
- Existing network relationships in Media agencies (e.g. Omnicom)
- Team lead or equivalent experience to mentor and coach junior colleagues
- Detailed understanding of online advertising dynamics and campaign planning & buying, specifically Real Time Bidding
- Deep understanding and passion for industry trends, technologies and pricing models
- Experience in sales account management
- Strong analytical skills including ability to spot trends in large data sets
- Ability to learn fast and adapt to a constantly evolving market
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prepare and deliver presentations tailored to all levels of management
- Problem solving ability and drive to remove impediments through workarounds and alternative solutions
